It’s taken five years for Horologium and La Esencia Records to finalise the production of „Der Volksmund Sagt II“, but the effect is more than you could hope for. The record pursues the general atmosphere presented in the first part of the trilogy, blending the grief and hopelessness of the Polish countryside – it’s severity, misery and ever-present alcohol – with the occasional moments of birdsong and joy. Twenty minutes of bucolic, postindustrial tunes pressed on a 10“ black vinyl, limited to 300 copies.
