Blind Cave Salamander - Troglobite [CD]

BLIND CAVE SALAMANDER is a project by Fabrizio Modonese Palumbo, former member of Italian post-rock legend LARSEN and Paul Beauchamp. They are backed up by sound designer, producer and engineer Marco Milanesio, and renowned cello player JULIA KENT. The music reflects an unusual mix of electronica, strings and guitars coupled with drones and field recordings. It is a fine collection of sounds that, at times, leans towards hypnotic lullabies and at others, towards abstraction. Blind Cave Salamander unravels shadowy, nocturnal landscapes into lush, bucolic soundscapes. Blind Cave Salamander new full lentgh album « Troglobite » also features the experimentalist Michael Begg as well as Little Annie´s pianist Paul Wallfisch.
